Mika graphic design

I'm a graphic designer from Budapest.

I graduated at Budapest Metropolitan University in 2014. I have been working as a graphic designer at Syllabux Publishing. 

I have mainly worked in the field of book publishing. In parallel with the university I worked in Syllabux Publishing as a graphic designer apprentince. I created designs on a wide scale, from love stories to war tragedies as I have a profound knowledge in literature. 

My specialities are book illustrations and cover designing. I also worked in a project with Kossuth Publishing. Next spring I will be publishing at the Hungarian Publisher Festival.

I have always been interested in  combining hand drawing and computer drawing. My aim is to create designs that are drawn by hand and could be used in webdesign and package design as well. My favourite theme is children’s book illustration. At the university I was involved in several  colorful projets, for example: logo design, desktop publishing, pictogram design, book cover design, package desing, poster design, and simple animation creation. 

My second apprentice place was the Born Marketing Agency. I had the opportunity to create advertisements and info graphic designs. 

At the Budai Art School I could  discover the interior design’s world, and I studied and practiced painting, acamedic drawing and sculpting. 

My specific subjects included courses such as: mural representation and creative visual studiums. During the summer I took part in Páholy Studio’s project where we developed an instructor program for elementary and high school’s students. This project was a computer application, 

I worked closely  with screenplay writers and programmers. 

My long-term goals include working in the marketing and illustration area. I like challenges and 

I like working in a team and also keeping contact with my clients.
